I am soooo excited to finally post this preview for Franci & Tiago! I photographed their baby bump session last week at the amazing Long Key Nature Center in Davie and I’m super excited that I had the opportunity to work with them at this beautiful location while the weather was perfect, since I’m pretty sure it will soon be too warm to return there until next winter (those parks get too many spiders in the summer).
This fun and stylish couple [my favorite kind! :)] were both absolute naturals in front of the camera – they followed my cues perfectly, were utterly and completely relaxed, and allowed me to create some of my favorite maternity shots thus far! Wait until you see how gorgeous the Long Key Nature Center is – having a setting like this definitely helped us get in the mood to create beautiful images together.
Franci and Tiago, I hope you love your images as much as I do! I can’t wait to show you the rest and REALLY can’t wait to meet your little angel when she arrives into the world!!! Enjoy!!

I decided that in an effort to make this blog more personal, I’m going to make a post the last Friday of every month with some interesting things I’ve found that will make life prettier and more interesting. Since I am a total Etsy fanatic, a lot of stuff will likely come from Etsy (the internet heaven of all crafters) since it’s almost always open on my web browser.
I’m going to try to do themes since that makes life more interesting! This month the theme is Valentine’s Day since it’s the next big holiday! A couple weeks ago I decided to take Zachary over to Volunteer Park for his 1 year photo shoot. I wanted to shoot in a different area of the park – over by the community center. It is no secret that I LOVE this park! It is right near our home office and has a zillion different places to shoot. I could do ten sessions here and each one would be different depending on where we picked as our backdrop. I just love this place! It’s one of the reasons why I chose it as the location for my Valentines Mini Sessions…. .which… by the way… I’m going to be extending to the rest of February! That’s right. Do you want a mini session done, but next weekend doesn’t work for you? Let me know. We can shoot on a different day and you can receive the special as long as it’s before February 28th. Just see the flyer below the photos for more info.
I shot Zachary at around 3:30pm when the sun was just starting to sink in the sky – one of my favorite times of day. My friend Lori helped me out on this shoot. She makes a great baby-wrangler. :) Toddlers move fast, so we just shot for about 25 minutes – a quick mini session!! Anyway, here are some of my favorites.
