I have been so excited to finally blog Lindsay & Pete’s wedding! They are such a wonderful couple – totally perfect for each other – and the first time that I got to meet them in person just a year ago, I knew that their wedding would be really special… and I was right!
Lindsay and I have become friends over the past year, and I have to say that the connection that I have with her really helped to make some of these images what they are. This is another massive blog post… there were just too many great images that I couldn’t help sharing them with the world.
Thanks to our friend Alex Rodriguez for coming to help out at the reception!
Here are some of my favorite shots from this special day:
Lindsay’s bridesmaids helped her get into her dress and adjusted her veil, while her mom put some beautiful vintage pearls around Lindsay’s neck.

Meanwhile, the guys were getting ready, and Pete’s groomsman helped him attach special cufflinks that Lindsay had made with photos of his grandparents inside.

The girls made a champagne toast with these adorable cups before Lindsay headed down to the chapel to meet up with Pete for their First Look.

The First Look is one of my favorite events during the wedding day. I absolutely love the special moments that happen when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, in semi-privacy, with just the photographers and videographers in the room. Lindsay and Pete’s first look was so beautiful – I think that all of us in the room were very overcome with emotion when Pete turned around to see his beautiful bride. There were lots of happy tears and softly whispered words… It is such a lovely thing to see and photograph, and I hope that more and more couples will choose to schedule a First Look into their wedding day. Take a look at these gorgeous, gorgeous images of Lindsay & Pete’s first time seeing one another on their special day.

I took this quick portrait of Lindsay & Pete as they waited for family to arrive for the group portraits.

Soon it was time to get married! Lindsay’s dad walked her down the aisle and gave her away. The service was really beautiful, and Pastor Bob at Wayside Baptist Church was fantastic, allowing me to get close enough to capture the couple’s expressions.

The couple headed out to The Rusty Pelican in a gorgeous classic car, arriving to their reception in style! Adrian and I followed the classic car as it took the couple on a tour through old Miami, bringing back memories of their engagement session last fall! Before heading to their reception, Lindsay & Pete had time to create some beautiful portraits during their cocktail hour.

Clearly everyone wanted to catch the bouquet or garter. I love both of these shots that Adrian captured!

At the end of the night, Lindsay & Pete drove away in an awesome Mustang Shelby Convertible!! I love the excited look on Pete’s face in this photo!

Lindsay & Pete, I am so glad that you chose us to document your special day. Getting to know you over the past year has been wonderful, and I hope that we stay friends for a long time! I can’t wait to see you both next month when you come visit for your presentation session!
