Austin & Megan: Married! – The Ocean Club – Key Biscayne, FL

Austin has been a friend of mine for quite a few years now, since we were both in college at the University of Florida! When he started dating Megan, I knew that they would someday get married, as they were obviously perfect for each other. :)

This couple really loves photography so I was very excited when they asked me to be their wedding photographer for their special “Pi Day” wedding on March 14th (aka 3.14). I knew that their wedding would be filled with many personal and unique details. They both have a love for all things vintage, and I think that really came out with their wedding and their wedding photographs.

Here’s a slideshow from their special day:

And now on to some of my favorite images… and there sure are a TON!

Here is the lovely Megan getting ready. I love how you can see her eyes behind the mirror in this image. It reminds me of an old Hollywood photo.

The bride’s side was running a bit late, so the groom’s side decided to check the time together.

But the bridesmaids were busy helping the bride get ready (and posing for a photo of course)!

The bouquets looked beautiful in the sunlight.

It was soon time for Megan’s dad to walk her down the aisle and for the ceremony to begin!

Married at last!

The bridal party was lovely and so much fun to work with.

Austin’s dad had the hookup for some amazing music and hired an incredible jazz/swing band to come and play at the wedding. Not a single “modern” song was played all evening. The songs really took you back and set the vintage mod that Austin & Megan wanted to portray for their special night! It was just spectacular!

Austin & Megan’s beautiful first dance was followed by dances with their parents.

Soon it was time for dinner…check out the gorgeous table settings! The couple sat at table number 3.14. How fun!

We ducked out for a few minutes to grab some portraits….By some… I mean, a lot! Props to Austin & Megan for making portrait-time an important part of their evening! They have lots of gorgeous images to remember their night by!

Then it was time for cake!

The last dance of the evening….

Check out their rings – can you see the engraving on the inside? It is the number for Pi!

Before we left, we couldn’t help but take a couple more portraits of the beautiful bride & handsome groom!

Austin & Megan, I’m so glad we could be there to celebrate with you on your wedding day! You both looked amazing and everything was just YOU to a tee. Your wedding has been one of the most beautiful and unique weddings that we have had the pleasure of photographing and we were so happy to be chosen to capture it. Lots of love & happiness to you both forever & ever!
