So, this engagement session 100% proves why I love, love, LOVE doing engagement sessions!!!
When I first met Karla and Jeff, I thought they were pretty cool people and was definitely looking forward to their wedding. Karla is a graphic designer so she understands how important photography is (always awesome) and Jeff seemed like a fun and laid back guy. Well, these two are a riot!!! I loved hanging around with them SO much last week shooting their engagement portraits at South Florida’s John Lloyd State Park! They made my job so much fun and I know their wedding day is going to be an absolute blast! I am so excited to see Karla looking incredible in her wedding gown (no kidding, how gorgeous is she?? look at those eyes!) and Jeff is going to be such a handsome and happy groom! I know they are going to totally rock their portraits at the Pier66 on their wedding day and I’m super excited for March to come now, because it will mean that their wedding day will be here!
John Lloyd State Park ended up being the most perfect setting ever for these photos. I will no longer shoot at any other beach… you want a beach? We WILL shoot here! It’s almost like having your very own private beach because it is a state park and you have to pay a small fee to get in. Some of these images are some of my most favorite, flaretastic shots ever…. especially those amazing shots at the end where Karla and Jeff are all back-lit by the sun – can you believe those were made in an empty parking lot right at sunset? Who knew parking lots were so photogenic, right? :)
