Adrian and I had a lot of fun photographing Steph & Scot’s San Diego wedding at Curvier Park- the Wedding Bowl! Their ceremony was beautiful – it overlooked the ocean, sand dunes, and cliffs, and their reception was held at a fun beach house just steps from the ceremony! It was the perfect choice for an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends.
I don’t usually put family shots in the blog posts, but these are a little unique. You’ll see in the big family group photo below, on the right, that Adrian, Zachary, and I are on the end! That’s because Stephanie and Scot are our cousins from California! Thanks to Scot’s friend/groomsman/aspiring photographer Andre for getting that shot for me! We had a great day spending time with family and making some gorgeous images for our wonderful cousins to treasure forever. We can’t wait to come back in April for our other cousins, Ray & Summer’s wedding which will also be in San Diego!
There is one shot that I think is fun, but you need to know the backstory :). Before the ceremony, we decided that Adrian would go up and get the “aerial” shot overlooking the ceremony. Right when he got up to the top of the hill, my mother in law decided to take Zachary for a little stroll around and Adrian got a shot of her walking by. He got lots of shots of the ceremony without Zachary and his mom of course! But I liked the photo and thought it was a fun detail to add to the collage.
