hello! I’m karen lisa and welcome to my website. thank you for visiting.. I hope you’re enjoying your stay! :) I absolutely love photography and have been drawn to it since I was a child looking at my dad’s combat photographs from the time he spent in the US Army.
I’m not going to write something long and drawn out and new-agey about why I chose to become a photographer, since it’s fairly obvious by the fact that I have my own photography business that I think that photography is an important part of life that you should seriously consider investing in.
BUT… I will say, that ever since my own child was born in November 2008, I have been shocked and a bit scared by how quickly life moves by. it takes my breath away to realize how many moments I could have missed because I haven’t scheduled in time in my family’s life to document it properly. life slips by. children grow up. we get old. how much more time will go by before we make the time to spend with the people we love (including making time for ourselves) and document that love on film as a treasure to pass down for generations to come?
I am a photographer, and after a few years in this business, I know that without a doubt, this is what I was meant to do. I photograph weddings, portraits, boudoir sessions, kids, babies, and more here in South Florida and anywhere else you’d like to send me.
I suggest that you schedule time once or twice a year (or more!!!) to document your family’s life so that you can look back on your memories and smile…. Please let me have the honor of being your photographer!
