I had such a great time photographing Miss L’s session! The always wonderful Darcy from South Florida Makeup Artistry handled L’s hair and makeup beautifully, and we shot at one of my fav locations, the W Hotel right on Ft. Lauderdale beach.

L is a basketball player, so we wanted to incorporate my signature boudoir style along with some basketball shots on the balcony of her hotel room. We had so much fun chatting about life, photography, and The Kardashians, which played on TV during our whole shoot, haha!

As an interesting sidenote, L is the tallest woman I’ve photographed so far – she is about 6 feet tall (I did say she plays basketball!), so this session brought a new challenge to me and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out different poses to work with our height difference (I am just over 5 feet tall)! I was thrilled to recently photograph Ms. L’s boudoir session at the W Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, one of my favorite locations to shoot at. Her anniversary with her husband was coming up and they planned a special vacation for the occasion. Ms. L wanted to bring along a special gift to present him with for their anniversary and I bet he loved the final product! Her album and slideshow were just amazing! After the session, Ms. L told me how much she enjoyed the shoot and how great she felt when she looked at the photos – it’s one of the best reasons why I love being a South Florida Boudoir Photographer – you may purchase the session as a gift for a significant other, but it is a gift for yourself, too!!

C. and I had such a fun time at her Boudoir session! We photographed her shoot in Ft. Lauderdale. C. had gotten a steal of a deal on a room at the W. so she took a mini-vacation for 1 night and we did her session there the next morning. It was an awesome location to shoot in, and we had amazing natural light the entire time streaming in through the blinds!

I think that C. and I laughed the entire way through her session! We had spent a lot of time emailing and had talked on the phone, so we felt pretty comfortable, and when I came into the room, she had the Food Network playing on TV.  So we had a really fun and relaxed session, got amazing shots, and the funny thing is that we actually left the TV on throughout the entire shoot, so every once in a while, one of us would look over and be mesmerized by Giada or Rachael or Paula Deen…. by the time we were done shooting both of us were starving after watching 3 hours of Food TV goodness! Watching a whole morning’s worth of Food TV during a boudoir shoot is absolutely a first for me, but I have to say, I think it definitely broke the ice and we had fun with it!

Anyway- as you can tell by these images, C. is stunning! She is a bride-to-be and sadly is not getting married here in Florida, because I wish I could have been her wedding photographer! She has a very lucky photographer at her out-of-state location who will be doing her wedding. I had a hard time choosing favorites to post on the blog because I liked SO many of them – and C. gave me permission to use just about all of her images from our shoot, so that made it even harder to make my selections!

Miss E is one of my favorite boudoir clients from last month. She’s absolutely gorgeous and she was so much fun to work with! We had each other laughing throughout the entire session! She came prepared with so many different outfits so that we were able to try a variety of looks and poses. Miss E also had her makeup done professionally and styled her hair, which really makes a difference in the final images. Boudoir sessions are so much fun! This lovely lady was such fun to work with. She and her future sister-in-law came to the shoot packed with ideas. I thought it was awesome that she brought her SIL along for moral support and to help her with her outfits (some of those garter clips are pretty tricky!).

Miss J is awesome and up for anything! I photographed her back in August and had a great time working with her and capturing her boudoir images. This is actually not the first time we have worked with her. A year ago, about a week before I was ready to give birth, she wanted some boudoir images done and I sent Adrian over to take some images for her. He did an amazing job. Pretty cool to see the differences between a man and a woman photographing the same person’s boudoir images. I’ll post some of Adrian’s shots at the end. As always, boudoir clients sign a release to give permission to post their images to my website.

Miss M was such a blast to work with! She has an incredible sense of humor and was such an absolute natural model! I was thrilled, since she is gorgeous and has such a great camera presence. It really allowed us to create some beautiful images together – which I know her fiance is sure to adore!

South Florida Boudoir Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of taking Boudoir portraits for the lovely Miss L. She was so great to work with because she came into the session with many ideas of her own. I really love how her photos came out, and these pictures just go to show you that boudoir doesn’t always have to be expensive lingerie 100% of the time – it can be whatever makes you happy and feel beautiful!

Raychel is visiting from out of town and decided to have a boudoir session while she’s here in South Florida. She brought lots of great clothing and was a fantastic model! I am so pleased with her photos…. just check out how gorgeous she looks! I think her hubby is going to be a very happy guy when he sees them!

I am tentatively planning a Boudoir Marathon in January as a special for Valentine’s Day. I will have space for 3-5 ladies to take part. Hair/Makeup will be included and the Marathon will be held at a local hotel for the ultimate in poshness! Each lovely lady will receive a 5×5 Leather Album with their 10 favorite images. I estimate a cost of about $550 to $600 or so per person (depending on hotel costs, etc), which is an amazing value for what you’ll receive!
