It’s important to me as a business owner to reduce my and my clients’ carbon footprint as much as possible. We are an eco-friendly photography studio and offer the following services in order to promote going GREEN!
- All of our booking and payments are done online! We use an online booking and contracting system for photographers called Táve Studio Manager (created and developed by Adrian, my other half), and payments are processed using Google Checkout. You can send a check or money order, too if you prefer. Online booking & contracting saves time and saves gasoline, preventing unnecessary car trips and the use of paper for contracting.
- All informational packets are sent via PDF file online so that paper is not wasted. You can download the pricing at your leisure and if you don’t need it anymore, simply delete it off your computer.
- I pay a little extra to my photo lab to drop ship most print orders to my clients. This is great because it reduces packaging and reduces gas and car trips that I would have to make to the post office, thus reducing my carbon footprint.
- All of my camera gear uses rechargeable batteries.
- Images are posted in online galleries for review rather than printing paper proofs, which is wasteful.
- Selected Eco-friendly albums, prints, and press-printed cards are available to clients who are interested.
